Geekiness

Couple of interesting links:
Google Scholar allows you to search scholarly literature.

del.icio.us lets you save your bookmarks online, tag and search your bookmarks, and allows for social bookmarking, where you can see what other people have bookmarked! Quite cool, makes for endless surfing fun, but the interface is still rather awkward to use. More here. Much thanks to spoon, for the link.

I'm surprised u didn't already know about del.icio.us. It's practically the same catergory of stuff as technorati, kuro5hin and memepool (esp memepool). You might also want to check out bloglines, furl and technocrat.

Firefox can reveal your passwords if u've forgotten. In some sense u're right I guess it (google) can become a crutch. Tell me you remember your SSH key. Or PGP private key. Even for stuff in general, remember the outlines and know where to look up the details if you need to (ie, wikipedia? but it's still far from complete).

And Google Scholar rocks. It owns. It's gonna do for lit search what Feynman did for QED.
